The Friends of Elysian Charter School kicked off its Annual Appeal campaign to benefit the Elysian Charter School Facilities Fund in September 2010. The Appeal had two goals (1) to raise $75,000 in cash and pledges and (2) to secure 100% participation from all Elysian families and staff members.
The 2010 Annual Appeal officially closed on February 26, 2011. The Friends of Elysian Charter School thanks all the donors who helped us raise $157,000 (through the Annual Appeal and our fundraising dinner/auction.), thus helping us exceed our total fundraising goal by more than $82,000.
While we did not reach our goal of 100% participation, we are encouraged by number of donors who contributed to the Appeal and the 65% response rate we achieved. The Friends of Elysian collected support from parents, teachers, staffers, grandparents, alumni, business associates, and even children (our little Eagles!).
Thanks again to all the donors who gave so generously to the 2010 Appeal. Thanks to you, Elysian’s Facilities Fund is stronger than ever.
